there is no smoking allowed in this building is a handbound photocopy zine using only existing images on my phone.
The zine takes a sardonic tone in its casual investigation of the modern “camera roll,” exploring how the photos we choose to take reveal something about our internal desires, our psyche.
The zine’s picture pairings accross each spread reveal unexpected associations and unintended meanings that are at once quotidian and surprising, unbecoming and conventional.
